Innkeeper
Rosendale, NY · Full-time, exempt
$90,000 to $110,000 per year DOE, plus bonus
The Six Bells Countryside Inn is a storybook country inn in Rosendale, New York: 11 rooms, The Feathers Tavern, a retail shop, and a private event venue. We are looking for an Innkeeper to lead it.
You will answer to ownership for the guest experience, the numbers, the team, and the brand. You will be on the property, know every detail, and be equally comfortable reading a P&L, checking a room, hosting a wedding site visit, and stepping into service on a busy night.
What you will do
- Lead and develop the team across the inn, Tavern, shop, and events
- Own the budget, forecast, and cost controls
- Lead the Lead Cook and Tavern front-of-house team
- Own event sales, from first inquiry to signed contract
- Keep our systems (Mews, Toast, Resy, Tripleseat) and SOPs working and current
- Report to ownership each week
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in hospitality, with 3+ years leading a team as a GM, assistant GM, or director
- Food and beverage and event experience
- Strong budgeting and financial skills
- Warm, clear communication with guests, staff, and owners
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Boutique or independent property experience and knowledge of the Hudson Valley are a plus
