Gable's Hollow

King Bed Room with a writing desk, lounge chairs and a private bathroom

Enveloping guests in shades of burnt sienna and fresh loganberry, Gable’s Hollow brims with the warmth and abundance of autumn. Tucked away on the Inn’s third floor, the room features a four-poster king-sized bed, hand-painted wardrobe, and wingback chair lit by an antique-inspired lamp. This cozy corner room is inspired by Barrow’s Green in fall, when the maples turn, the children make corn dollies at the local primary school, and many a villager can be found dancing wildly by the creek in Gable’s Hollow. Every year, a debate—often spearheaded by Ursula Lumley—breaks out over whether the harvest festivities are slightly too occult in nature.
